Continuing my journey of launching Tumblers by Clip Craft, letโs dive into the creative process of designing and listing digital products on Etsy. Hereโs how I bring my tumbler wraps to life and get them ready for eager buyers!
Designing Tumbler Wraps
Creating beautiful tumbler wraps is where the fun begins! I use a variety of AI tools to generate unique designs. Hereโs a breakdown of my trusty companions:

- Mydesigns (DALL-E 3 and Ideogram)
- Canva Dream AI
- Kittl
Midjourney:ย This tool is fantastic for watercolor or hand-drawn/painted styles. Its ability to mimic artistic techniques makes it perfect for creating wraps with a more organic feel. Although it does take time to learn how to prompt in order to consistently get it to give you the style of image you are looking for.
Mydesigns:ย This platform is a powerhouse, offering access to six different AI models, including favorites like DALL-E 3 and Ideogram. DALL-E 3 is renowned for its shiny, vibrant cartoon images and excels at incorporating text into designs. Ideogram offers a similar style but with its unique touch. Mydesigns is excellent for experimenting with various styles all in one place.
Kittl:ย Kittl stands out by allowing you to select the art style you want to produce. Itโs super user-friendly, especially for beginners. Plus, you can upscale and set the canvas size and DPI within the platform, eliminating the need to jump to Photoshop afterwards.
Canva Dream AI:ย This tool also lets you choose the art style, and itโs continuously improving. I enjoy using Canva for its accuracy in producing text, making it a reliable option for creating detailed designs. The bonus is, if you already have a Canva Pro subscription then you get AI credits included every month!
Design Inspiration and trends
Staying on top of trends is crucial, so I turn to Insight Factory and Baileyโs Design Club for the latest ideas. They keep my designs fresh and aligned with whatโs hot in the market, ensuring that each wrap is not only beautiful but also relevant.
Insight Factoryย is a powerful tool that helps you stay updated on the latest market trends and popular designs. It provides valuable insights into whatโs trending, allowing you to create products that align with current customer preferences. By using Insight Factory, you can ensure your designs are relevant and appealing to your target audience.
I found this trend on Insight Factory and created a series of tumbler wraps with the quote Books are my love language. This takes the popular bookish niche and combines it with Valentines day. This listing has sold twice already within just a few days of being posted.

I use two Photoshop mockup templates and a video template to showcase my designs professionally. I start by researching the market to understand how similar products are priced. Aligning my prices with top sellers on Etsy helps ensure competitiveness. This research gives me a solid foundation for setting prices that appeal to customers while reflecting the quality and uniqueness of my designs.
Strategic Pricing Approach
To encourage initial sales and gather reviews, I introduce new designs at a special price of $1 for the first week. This limited-time offer creates a sense of urgency and attracts early buyers. After the introductory period, the designs are moved to their appropriate store sections and priced at $3.95 each. This sales strategy is a top tip from Bailey and within two weeks of my new store being live, I already have 10 sales!
Offering Value with Freebies
Every design purchase includes nine free tumbler wraps, adding significant value for buyers. This bonus not only enhances the appeal of each listing but also differentiates my store from competitors. Tools like eRank, Alura, and Everbee also help refine my keyword strategy, ensuring my listings appear in relevant searches. I like to use more than one tool to be sure that I am including the top searched for keywords in relation to the theme of my design. There are many Etsy SEO tools out there, some better than others, the ones I have listed above I have personally used and would recommend. Alura and Everbee integrate with a browser plugin so they appear when you are actually on Etsyโs website, with again is a very handy time saving tool.
Writing Effective Titles and Tags
Crafting titles and tags that incorporate these keywords is key to boosting your presence when listing digital products on Etsy. I focus on creating clear, descriptive titles that capture the essence of each tumbler wrap and ensure they are sprinkled with the keywords I have found. Tags are carefully selected to match popular search terms, increasing the likelihood of attracting potential buyers.
By prioritizing Etsy SEO in my listings, I enhance my storeโs visibility and drive more traffic, ultimately leading to increased sales and growth.

I use Google Drive to keep everything neatly arranged. Each design is stored in a folder named after the store, with subfolders for each section and individual design names. This structure ensures that I can quickly find and manage my files, making it easy to update listings or create new products.

This organization method not only keeps me efficient but also prepares me for offering an all-access pass in the future, similar to what I have in my clipart store. Having a well-organized inventory allows me to scale my business without the chaos, ensuring that I can meet customer demands and explore new opportunities.

Tips for Attracting Buyers
Successfully attracting buyers when listing digital products on Etsy involves a few strategic moves:

Offer Limited-Time Discounts
Create a sense of urgency by offering limited-time discounts or exclusive promotions. This can drive quick sales and increase interest in your listings. As I mentioned earlier, for my new store I am using the strategy that all new designs go into the $1 design category for the first week, as a call to action to drive those early sales. At the same time I also have different daily sales set up store wide. If you set up sale for 24 hours at a time, Etsy puts this sale ends in XXX banner on your listings, which again is another call to action.

Engage with Your Audience
Utilize social media to showcase your products and engage with your audience. Share behind-the-scenes content or customer stories to create a community around your brand.
I post all my designs to my pinterest account for my Etsy stores, clipart and tumbler wraps are aimed at similar niches โ people in the crafting space. Therefore I have been able to utilize my pinterest account that I originally set up for Clip Craft Emporium and leverage the traffic of an already established account.

Yet again, for time management I utilize Tailwind for posting to my pinterest accounts. I have two โ one for my Etsy stores and one for this blog and Tailwind literally saves me hours of work by assisting me with Pin creation, titles, descriptions and scheduling.
Optimize for Mobile
Ensure your listings are mobile-friendly. Many buyers shop on their phones, so clear images and easy navigation are crucial.
By implementing these strategies, you can enhance your Etsy storeโs appeal and draw in more buyers, ensuring your digital products stand out in the marketplace.
