I used part of the Tumblers by Clip Craft banner as an opportunity to highlight our successful clipart store. Reason one – free advertising, reason two – people who create tumblers are also interested in clipart, and the final reason – when you start a new Etsy store it takes a while to start getting sales, many shoppers might click through to your product if they like it, but then when they click through to your store they see you have little sales and might turn away. So advertising my already established store, shows customers that I am not a newbie!

Don’t be alarmed or demotivated by this! Not all customers behave this way, the only thing you can focus on when the store is new is to be consistent, list new products daily and while quantity is important as Etsy is a volume game, if the quality is not there, your listings will not convert.
